today two very crazy people crashed my office.

saw two pairs of legs and a very large board walking outside the com lab door (which is blurred in the middle section) and the first thought that came to my mind was, wow what a lovely board, wonder what the occasion is.

and then a few mins later victor (proj manager) came in and said, "uhh.... chen....ye?" and i popped my head out from behind and went "er yah?" and he said "you got visitors".

that was when things started to fall into place. hahah! so my dear two best friends out there, i already smelled a rat when victor came in. but going outside and seeing the two of you just made my heart flip over -

now i fret about where to display the board LOL.

birthdays are not merely defined by presents, for it is the blessings of those around you that truly make it wonderful. but of course, presents wrap up the day ever so nicely. :) a box of nail stuff from the nj gang last sat at sk2's house will keep me from buying nail polish for a very long time haha! the ppl in the train this morning must've thought i was out of my mind bcos every sms has me grinning widely like a mad cheshire cat. and the commute home was "no better" cos of a certain gigantic humongous gargantuan elephantine leviathan board that i had to lug home. plus a bag full of stuff from the best friends.

though happily, of course :B

then again, the commute home was punctuated by rises and falls in mood as i discussed a certain topic with isabelle, the trusty going-home companion. i dont dare to ---------------------- bcos --------------- but i dont even know myself. argh!

no expectations = no disappointment. my mantra, always.
